"If I knew where you lived, I'd send you a bouquet of freshly sharpened pencils."

Oh! It's that time of year! Know where the quote is from? An extra cookie for you if you do! Anyway, I always get giddy about fall and school supply shopping - the scent of a new box of crayons, the feel of spiral notebooks, the rainbow of highlighters, reams of post-it notes. I don't have much need for crayons anymore (not that that's ever stopped me from buying them) but my list has evolved - here's my "all grown-up" supply list for fall...

grey-gold-ish nail polish - something with just a glimmer of shimmer to offset the jewel tones of the season - like OPI's "I only drink champagne"

fabulous jackets - cropped or not - oh my god there are jackets EVERYWHERE! and I want them all

flats - with my current knee ailment I've been relegated to flat and kitten heels - the timing can't get any better - I see flats in my future but only round toe

Kelly Caleche - Hermes new fragrance for fall takes me places - like the cobblestone streets of Paris. I'm waiting for the first crispness of fall to arrive before I break the seal on box though - just like I'd wait for the first day of school to open my new box of crayons.

pants - highwaist with just a tease of a wide-leg (I'm too short to totally take on the trend) - I'm thinking navy blue.

jeans - a great dark wash with no gradations in tone - maybe even a trouser-type silhouette

color - a berry lipstain - nothing glossy - a "just bitten" color.
lipsick kisses!
roshbosh
